Join Dr. Wendy Troutman and Mr. Tooth as they promote National Children's Dental Health Month and the Independence Public Library. Mr. Tooth will demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques, discuss the impact of diet on the oral cavity, and explore the wonders of fluoride. He will also guide the children through a typical dental visit and familiarize them with instruments and procedures at the dental office. Discovery Time is suitable for ages 4 and up. It is free and open to the public and no registration is required. It meets the first and third Monday evenings of the month at 6:30 pm in the Community Room.
